Violent Femmes - Add It Up

(via fluffed)

Violent Femmes’ greatest hits was the first CD I bought for myself, when I was 13 or so. My dad would jam out to it with me. (My dad has great taste in music. It took 15 years before I admitted he was right about Kraftwerk.) I listened to this album, and in particular this song, on repeat on my discman when I tromped around our suburban southern Illinois subdivision for months. It was the beginning of me finally developing good taste in music.
